That old saying, “Sticks and stones might break my bones, but words will never hurt me,” had good intentions, but kind of missed the mark. I am sure you can remember words that were said to you that have had an impact, and even if you can’t remember the exact words, you can remember the feeling and the message it left on you. In this workshop we will discuss the power, impact, our words have on young children and what to do instead.
