Caregiving through Connection - Best Practices in Infant and Toddler Care
Caregiving through Connection - Best Practices in Infant and Toddler Care
This workshop is facilitated by RIE Associate® and Infant Family Associate Shannon Carr, M.A.T, IMH-E®
The infant and toddler years are the time when one develops knowledge about all the skills needed to be in relationship. This is a critical time for us humans. Infant and toddler caregivers have a very important role that lasts a lifetime.
In this workshop, we will look at connection, what gets in the way, and how we can increase these opportunities for our children and ourselves.
We will ponder the questions…
What does it feel like when we are seen, heard, and valued?
What does this interaction look like and when does it happen?
When do our children experience these same feelings?
